New Outback 50 Motor yacht to Debut at Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show
The New Outback 50 Promises to Redefine Recreational Yachting.
[Ft. Lauderdale, Florida]: Outback Yachts today announced its flagship Outback 50 motor yacht will debut at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show October 30 – November 3, 2019. The Outback 50 offers a unique design approach to recreational yachting.
“The Outback 50 represents a significant departure from the trend of cramming maximum accommodations into a limited hull form,” says Andrew P. Cilla, Ft. Lauderdale-based Founder of Outback Yachts. “Working with legendary yacht designer Michael Peters, we’ve created a yacht that combines maximum performance and comfort with a streamlined design and unique outdoor features to enhance on-deck living.”
Notable features and benefits of the new Outback 50 include:
- More deck space than any yacht in her class offers flexibility to fish, dive, dine on deck or easily stow and launch tender, jet skis, kayaks, or other water sports gear.
- Elegant, modest interior extends naturally from the aft deck, opens expansive views, and emphasizes casual onboard living
- Unique hull design by Michael Peters features a shallow draft and aft engine placement for a smooth, level, quiet, and comfortable ride regardless of speed
- Extremely economical, requires only 500 total hp to push to 20 knots
Built at the Kha Shing Shipyard in Taiwan, The Outback 50 is available for immediate commission at a build price starting at $1.4 million, fully equipped.
Hull #1 will be displayed at B/C Dock, Slip 16 /17 at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show. Hulls #2 and #3 are currently under construction, scheduled for launch in January 2020 and April 2020.
